Dynamic Preservation and Resuscitation of the Kidney and Liver

176.1 - Dynamic Preservation and Resuscitation of the Kidney and Liver

Presenter: Ina, Jochmans, Leuven, Belgium
Authors: Ina Jochmans

Overview:

With the increased use of higher-risk grafts from suboptimal donors, interest in dynamic – instead of static – preservation of kidney and liver grafts has increased the past years. This webinar will give an overview of the current available evidence for the use of machine perfusion to preserve kidney and liver grafts. It will also address the use of dynamic preservation strategies to assess organ viability and resuscitate grafts.
