Success in organ transplantation is strongly correlated with a successful organ procurement program. Whether donation activities are organized in an independent OPO, within a hospital system, centrally controlled through the government, or in another format, there are key principles and components that are important to all structures. This presentation will focus on key organizational, leadership and management concepts essential to enhance effectiveness of donation programming.
