Cell Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Society Update

The Cell Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Society (CTRMS) under its expanded vision to embrace members with an interest in regenerative therapies, enters its second year under its new name. The Society has welcomed new members and is launching new initiatives to achieve its mission. There are now three active committees: the Social Media and Web Committee, Membership Committee and Young Investigators Committee. The CTRMS is actively seeking new members to lead in the fields of mesenchymal stromal cells, neuronal regeneration, islet cells, muscle, cartilage, bone, cardiac and lungs and colleagues from tissue engineering.

CTRMS members who have a wealth of experience in using cellular therapies in organ failure could provide assistance to researchers in the field of stem cells and regenerative therapies to facilitate their translation into clinical practice. We would like to invite you to become a member of our Society, and join us in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, for our joint meeting with the Canadian Society of Transplantation taking place on September 26-29, 2017.
