Declaration of Istanbul

Organ trafficking and transplant tourism is an illegal form of human exploitation that imperils both the organ donor and recipient. The IPTA is a signatory to the Declaration of Istanbul, and will seek to continually embed its principles within the Association's work and advocacy.

Pediatric Priority Position Statement

The IPTA Ethics Committee has developed the following draft position statement, on behalf of the IPTA membership. Please see the Ethics Committee area for information on the process for developing position papers. This position statement is now open for feedback by the IPTA membership. The Ethics Committee values highly the diversity of opinion and perspectives that should be expected from an international community of professionals. As such, we are actively soliciting your thoughts and suggestions on the following position statement.
